I received my Bachelor of Science in 1978 and my DVM in 1981 from Iowa State University in Ames Iowa. In 1982 I established the Brownsville Small Animal Clinic in Dr. Griffith’s practice building and in 1988, moved the practice to Lomira.
After spending my early years in Cibeque, Arizona where my parents were teachers on the Apache Reservation, I grew up in southeastern Wisconsin. I received a BS in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma.
What motivated you to work in veterinary medicine?
I had a pug named Smudge when I was a child and he got an infected cyst on his tail. Smudge’s veterinarian asked me to warm compress the cyst each night (and we gave him antibiotics).
Dr. David Hutsebaut received his Bachelor of Science from Delaware Valley College in 2011 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. He has a special interest in general medicine and surgery.
