What motivated you to work in veterinary medicine?
Veterinarian was my first career choice. I ended up in Human Resources. Now I get the best of both!

What is the most exotic animal you have treated?
I owned a Blue and Gold Macaw and a Scarlet Macaw. I still own an African Grey

Spiders and bugs
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment?
Raising two sons who are both very successful professionals in their adult life
What do you do in your spare time?
Trail ride my horses and go camping with them

Pizza

People not following through

3 Arabian mares, 1 African Grey, 2 Terrier mixes, 1 Red Corn Snake
If you were to come back as an animal, what would it be and why?
A bald eagle – they are majestic!

Black Stallion – loved horses
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Getting to go on a trail ride each ear during our vacation

1. I competed in endurance racing for 24 years

4. I am an adjunct instructor for two different universities
