What motivated you to work in veterinary medicine?

The opportunity to build my skillset and further my goal of getting into vet school.

What has been your most rewarding moment working in veterinary medicine?

Completing a cat neuter as an undergrad student.

If you weren’t working at a veterinary clinic, what would you do?

I would be a camp counselor leading outdoor trips.

What is the most exotic animal you have treated?

Cats and dogs are the most exotic animals I‘ve got my hands on.

What animal scares you more than any other?

Crocodiles, or anything too big to handle.

What do you consider your greatest accomplishment?

My greatest accomplishment is paddling the inner passage of Alaska for 45 days.

What do you do in your spare time?

Run, watch anime, study history, and enjoy the outdoors.

What animals do you currently have?

None of my own, but I have plenty of dogs in the family.

If you were to come back as an animal, what would it be and why?

An otter; they just have it all!

What is your favorite childhood movie and why?

Fried Green Tomatoes. It’s not a real kids movie, but it’s my favorite.

What is your favorite childhood memory?

Swimming at my family cabin and catching turtles.
