What motivated you to work in veterinary medicine?

It’s awesome the way a dog can make you feel and all they want in return is a scratch behind the ears or a belly rub.

What has been your most rewarding moment working in veterinary medicine?

I don’t have any yet! But watching the way this team operates I’m sure I will have many of them.

If you weren’t working at a veterinary clinic, what would you do?

Working with dementia patients.

What is the most exotic animal you have treated?

No exotics yet!

What animal scares you more than any other?

Snakes – They’re all poisonous to me

What do you consider your greatest accomplishment?

Working with individuals with dementia and helping them through moments of behaviors and being able to put a smile back on their face.

What do you do in your spare time?

Spending time with my parents, siblings and nieces and nephews, playing softball, shooting pool, watch sports, driving anywhere

What is your favorite comfort food?

Meatloaf and mashed potatoes

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Passing drivers that are in the passing lane because they are going 65mph.

What animals do you currently have?

A Labrador named Miaze

If you were to come back as an animal, what would it be and why?

Eagle – They are majestic and exciting to see

What is your favorite childhood movie and why?

I have two – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – Who wouldn’t want to have fun like that? And, The Shinning – It was one of the only VCR tapes my Grandma had at her house

What is your favorite childhood memory?

Christmas morning – Covering our eyes to walk out of the house to go to church. Then coming home and covering our eyes again to come back in and run upstairs and change back into our pajamas. Taking a picture with all my siblings on the stairs before coming all the way down to start Christmas

1. I have 8 brothers, 4 sisters, and 24 nieces and nephews

2. I’m a huge Michigan Wolverines fan

3. I competed in strongman competitions

4. Won 2 nd place at National Dance Educators of America competition in Las Vegas

5. I was Daddy Warbucks in “Annie” my senior year in high school
