When planning a frozen semen shipment overseas, please plan well in advance.

Foreign countries have different regulations and requirements that need to be fulfilled before the export of semen can take place.  Many require the importer to apply for and obtain an import permit.  Several countries require serologic testing by a governement laboratory for Leptospirosis and Brucellos. 

In some cases, semen that is currently frozen will not be eligible for export. Costs for shipping semen internationally can average between $1500.00 and $2000.00. Shipping costs can be split between several importers if we are advised will in advance.
